Thanksgiving was very nice. We went to my cousin Debbie's house and enjoyed dinner with her family. It was a little weird, it was kinda like a regular family dinner, with the 3 of us added. Debbie's family is pretty big by itself. There was: Debbie and Arlon, Carrie, Douglas, Collin and Keegan, Docia, Jimmy, Jonah, Jordan and Ellie, Brit, Ryan, Maggie and me. I really enjoyed that it was so low key. No one was stressed, the house wasn't too crowded, and Maggie had plenty of toys and people to play with. Maggie's favorite thing to do was bounce bounce. Debbie has a trampoline in the backyard, and Maggie got to jump with Ellie. The family may be getting a trampoline for Christmas this year. If Santa thinks we were all good. The food was good, and there were enough of us that we didn't eat too much, or have pounds of left overs.
The day after Thanksgiving I wussed out and didn't do Black Friday Shopping. Instead I followed our usual tradition and put up the Christmas Tree. The whole weekend was spent decorating because we felt like being lazy half the time (Maggie played with the Dora house, I finished the Twilight Saga, Ryan played Xbox), so we only did a couple of things at a time. Now it is all done, except a little garland and the stockings which I just ordered last night. (I still need one for Neiner) Other than that we are good to go. I bought a few new things this year since we will be having people here for Christmas. YEA!!! Dad, Donna, Maris and Paige are all coming Christmas night and leaving New Year's Eve. I am so excited. I thought we might have to do Christmas without them and that was not cool. I'm sad that we won't get to see Grandma and Grandpa or any of the Fetscher's, but not everyone can travel at Christmas (plus my house just isn't that big!)
I'll try to take some pictures tonight and post so you can see how festive it is.
