I never think we are busy, then life happens, and it's a month since I last posted. We have made some new friends, The Hatley's. Ella is in Maggie's The Little Gym class on Wednesday's. Her mom Ashley and I are friendly so I asked her to join my mom's group. Her husband is on a cook off committee, so Ryan and I got to go to the BBQ cook off for the Rodeo this year. It was awesome, and so very tasty! Nothing beats delicious free food, free drinks, and meeting new people. That was almost 3 weeks ago. We've gotten together with them ever weekend for the last 3 which has been a nice change from just the 3 of us sitting at home. It's nice to have a family to do stuff with.
Ryan started coaching Tball this season, and has been having practice on Wednesday nights. Since I have cake class on Monday's, and he coaches on Wednesday's our week
seems to fly by. He had his first game this past Saturday and it was so cute. Maggie and I went to cheer on the Rockies!
Work has been good, my kids are doing really well. They are listening better and starting to participate in the singing and routines we have in class. I missed most of them last week. I started feeling yucky Wednesday night, and sometime between 9:30 and 3:00 came down with a fever. When I checked it at 6:45 Thursday morning it was 101.4. Needless to say, I was not fit to be running around teaching gymnastics. Maggie went ahead to the babysitters so I could rest and she wouldn't get sick. Luckily for me she came home and went straight down for a nice 2+ hr nap. Then Ryan came home and took over. I was out of it for 2 days. I still didn't have enough energy to teach a full class on Saturday, so that's why Maggie and I got to go the the Tball game. All better now, and work was great today. After next week things should slow down about. Maggie gets to spend some quality time with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Harvey (gosh, that still sounds weird to me!) next week.
