Little things add up

Well, I haven't posted in a week because it seems like all these little things just keeping adding up to make me a little busy.

• I have now taken over as organizer for my mommy's group. It is not a hard job, it is just taking some time to get things back on track. The group has been in a bit of a slump since Thanksgiving, so I found a good assistant and she is helping me bring some life back into so we can keep all our good mommies interested.


• My cake class was interesting, but kind of a waste on Monday. We decorated a basic round tiered cake. We learned to do a shell border, which isn't my favorite, but it does finish off a cake nicely. I was getting in to practicing that and making it look better when we switched gears and decided to make clowns.
  Now, I don't know about you, but these suckers are kind of creepy. I would have been much happier making shells and roses for 2 hours, and skipping clowns all together. No pictures were taken, but I was told that it was tasty, and gone by 8:30 the next morning. (Gotta love offices- they eat anything I send up there!)


• Maggie has learned to say "No". The great thing is, she doesn't know what it means. I ask if she wants juice, "no", then she goes to the fridge. Anything I ask, the answer is no, but I don't know if it means yes or no. So I spend at least 2 hours total a day trying to figure out what she really means. I kind of feel like I'm in a bad version of "Who's on First".

The most fun we have had, is when Daddy plays tea party with Maggie in her new cottage.

Until the rain stops the cottage is by our french doors. Once we have nice non-wet weather we will move it to the back slab.
