E-I-E-I-O

Words, words, everywhere. Maggie has decided that song will be her vehicle for speaking. This week she surprised me with Old MacDonald. (I guess she has been playing with her See-N-Say a lot.) I started singing, and as soon as I got to the EIEIO part she jumped right in. She is also paroting now. We were at her friend Andrew's birthday party yesterday, and I asked her if she wanted a cracker. She looked at me and said "cra'er". Every time I ask her something, or she plays with her See-N-Say she is talking. I love it, because you can really tell what she is trying to say.Hopefully she will start asking for things in the next few weeks, and a lot of her frustrations will be gone.

She has also figured out that temper tantrums are exciting. Ryan and I disagree with her. We are doing our best to eliminate this as much as possible, but more that anything I just laugh when she falls on the floor and glares at me. I'm trying not to react, but she is just such a faker. She just wants to show her discontent, and hope that I let her do badness. I think she will be challenging during the "terrible two's", but I won't have anything to complain about. If I can get some pictures of a "tantrum" I will post, just so you can see how pitiful she is.
