This week was all about ...

POTTY TRAINING! It was really just kind of on a whim. She has been acting so much more grown up recently. She is really getting into Tinker Bell and the Princesses, so I decided to use it to my advantage. We already had Tinker Bell panties, but while we were at Target we picked up some Princess panties. (She wanted Handy Manny, but they only had them for boys!) We came home on Wednesday and after her nap we went to panties. Since then there have been 5 accidents and that's it. She has even done all her poopies on the potty since then. Today was nothing but panties. We went to Jazzercise without an accident, and then this afternoon we went to the grocery store without an accident. We started attempting this in August. Every few weeks we have revisited the situation, but she just wasn't ready. I guess she is ready to be a big girl. I'm thrilled to not change diapers, but I'm a little saddened by the fact that she is growing up. Some days I miss that little peanut I brought home from the hospital- then I remember trying to nurse and the nostalgia is quickly gone!

That was the biggest thing going on here. We have had gorgeous weather this weekend. Upper 60's to low 70's. ( I know my family in Indiana hates that!)We have been playing outside a lot and just enjoying how awesome the weather can be.

PS- Take a moment on Friday to send good thoughts/prayers out for my Grandpa. He is having surgery to remove the tumor on his pulmonary artery. I know he is in very capable hands, but I still think good thoughts can do a world of good.
